Community Guidelines
Liftlern grows when lifters share accurate food data and thoughtful product feedback. These guidelines apply to user-generated content you submit through the app, including community foods and product feedback on the feedback board. They supplement our Terms of Use.
Product feedback
When you tap "Share feedback" or "Send to Alex", you submit a title and description to our product feedback board.
- Be specific. Explain the problem you are solving and how a change would help your training or learning.
- Stay on topic. Feature requests and constructive criticism are welcome. Spam, ads, hate speech, harassment, or unrelated rants are not.
- No impersonation. Do not pretend to be another person or company.
- Moderation: New submissions are stored with status Pending Review. They are not visible on the public board until reviewed. The founder manually reviews submissions to filter spam and low-quality entries. You may see your own pending item locally until it is approved or removed.
- Voting: Approved items can receive votes from signed-in users. Do not manipulate votes with multiple accounts.
Community foods
When a barcode or food is missing, you can add nutrition information to the shared Liftlern database. Other users may see your contribution labelled as Liftlern Community.
Please do
- Enter values from the product packaging or a trustworthy label photo you took yourself.
- Use clear product names and brands.
- Double-check calories and macros per 100g before submitting.
- Use AI label reading as a draft only, then correct mistakes before saving to the community.
Please do not
- Submit joke foods, deliberate misinformation, or copy-pasted data you know is wrong.
- Upload photos of people or private documents; only photograph product labels you need for nutrition.
- Include offensive language in food names or brands.
- Scrape or bulk-upload third-party databases in violation of their terms.
Community entries vary in quality until they are reused and corrected. If you see an error, use in-app correction flows where available or report it via support@liftlern.com.
Personal food overrides
Corrections you save for your own diary may sync as personal overrides tied to your account. These are meant for your accuracy, not to change shared foods for other people.
Enforcement
We may remove content, reject pending feedback, or suspend accounts that break these guidelines or the Terms. Serious or repeated abuse may be reported to authorities where required.
